Our Home Care Services

Our Clients:

We provide diverse care services to help individuals stay in the home of their choice, while giving their family peace of mind, so they can get back to living life as it’s meant to be lived. In many instances,  our clients may also have Home Health Doctors, Nurses and Therapists visiting their home to provide them with in-home medical care. These medical professionals provide short duration medical treatments, while our Caregivers provide the on-going, day to day non-medical assistance that our clients rely on to maintain their independence and dignity. We offer our care services from four hours per shift up to 24 hours per shift at an hourly rate.

Our Service Rates:

Whether you need respite care, hourly care or 24 hour care, Aging Assistant strives to offer just the right combination of services to promote your recovery and/or independence in the most economical way. We offer the best possible care at a reasonable and competitive rate. That is our commitment because our client’s well-being is our top priority. Our rates begin at $38.00 per hour for one person (add $15.00 per hour for a second person needing care), rates will vary based on the level of care, number of clients needing care and the location of care service. Our Care Managers will provide you with the specific rate for service at the initial care assessment meeting.

Our Services

Our Caregivers provide non-medical assistance for activities of daily living (ADLs). Many tasks often prove to be challenging for seniors as they age due to a variety of health conditions. Our goal is to make the days less stressful and more enjoyable for our clients.

24-Hour Care

Some clients and their families prefer to have someone in the home at all times to monitor the client's condition and to provide assistance as needed throughout the day and night. This is typically accomplished through multiple caregivers working in shifts to provide assistance to our clients around the clock.

Companionship & Socialization Assistance

We help the Client keep in touch with family and friends via phone, email, or even video chat. Our Caregivers can engage in conversation, read aloud from a newspaper or books, or enjoy a classic or newly released movie with a client. We can also suggest new activities which may bring the Client enjoyment. And sometimes just being there helps and provides a sense of security.

How Do You Pay?

Private Pay

Typically, your medical insurance will only pay for in-home medical care which is provided by a Home Health agency. Therefore, most of our clients pay for their care assistance out of pocket – using their own funds. We are now seeing some Medicare Advantage insurance companies beginning to cover a few hours of our in-home care assistance as well. Talk with your Medicare Advantage insurance provider to see if their plan will cover your in-home private duty care assistance.

Veterans' Aid & Assistance Benefits

Are you a Veteran or a Surviving Spouse of a Veteran and are you looking for assistance in the home?  We can help you navigate the VA benefits application process and make the most of your situation so that you can remain right where you are - home sweet home. In 1952, Congress passed Title 38 of the United States Code, creating what we now call the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which authorizes benefits for veterans. One of these benefits is the Non-Service Connected Pension with “Aid and Attendance.” Call today to get the help you need to see if you qualify!

Long Term Care Insurance Benefits

Aging Assistant accepts Long Term Care insurance to pay for our services. Each policy is different so it is important to know the specific details of your policy and to contact your LTC insurance company prior to the start of our service. Our office staff will help you to submit the necessary documents.
